The GRE, Graduate Record exam, is a standardized exam across the globe that is taken by students all around the world for getting admission to some of the top most schools and universities in the world in the US, UK and Canada. It is because of this that GRE scores are very important for students. The GRE Exam consists of three sections: GRE verbal, GRE math and the GRE analytical section. GRE essay writing is the new section that is added. It is a multiple-choice exam i.e. in the verbal and the math section. If the answer is yes then the score is given and entered in the ETS record whereas if the answer is no then you are not given your score. GRE exams can be given anytime but not more than five times in a year. GRE scores mean a lot in order to get admission in good schools.
